Pretty (White) Kitchens

We've talked about my blog stalking habits before. Lots of times before. But, never about one of my favorite blogs, Hooked on Houses. Her blog is A-mazing. I promise. Seriously, check her out.

Anyway, today she is doing a "blog party" where everyone blogs about the current things they are "hooked on" and then leave a link for everyone to follow along. How exciting! Of course I am jumping all over that.

You know who else is doing a blog party? The Inspired Room. She wants everyone to post beauty that they have found this week. I think the kitchens below show that, as well.

YES! Two birds with one stone.

Here's my confession... I am hooked on white kitchens. Really. I am. I find myself googling images of them all the time.
When I find a picture of one I really like, I feel all warm inside. My heart even skips a few beats. Sometimes, I even hear myself mutter a small "mmm..."
I wish I were joking, but I'm not. I have a serious problem.

Here are a few of my favorite white kitchens. Try not to stare for too long. It can cause a headache (believe me, I've had it happen to me far too many times.)

I need to stop. My heart is beating outside my chest. I need one. Now!

I have a bad memory and can't remember exactly where all the kitchens came from. I just have one big file on my computer full of white kitchens (hooked, I know!)... I do know kitchen number one is from This Young House, though.

  1. Having had a dark and gloomy black kitchen, I too was hooked on white/cream/(any colour but black) kitchens.

Just had ours remodelled, and now I don't have to drool on the internet! Pics on my blog - a couple of weeks back, of the makeover.

    Have a great weekend.

  2. I too drool over photos of white kitchens. I'm hoping to paint my cabs white this summer but the summer is passing by rather quickly!

  3. Due to my husbands transfers I have had many homes and kitchens. I had a white one when I lived overseas in Dubai in my villa. It was bright and cheerful and always felt inviting. The photos you show here are lovely. I especially like the last one with the butcher block counter top, because it feels like one I would enjoy cooking in.

  4. These are such pretty kitchens. My problem is that I need a few more homes because I like the dark kitchens just as much as the white ones! I can never make up my mind, so I am going to have to make mine a bit of both. I am hoping to paint the island a lighter color and the kitchen table too. The house is brand new, so my husband cringes at the thought of me changing "perfectly new" things.

  9. I love those kitchens! First week of july we are redoing our kitchen in all white, I'm a little scared, never had a white kitchen before, but hopefully it will work out!

  10. Ours has light wood floor, white cabinets, white appliances, yellow/green walls, dark back splash. I keep wondering why I'd want to mess it up with stainless steel which may never been the style in 5 years.
