I'm warning you, there are a lot of pictures in this post. Like, especially a lot of me. My sister was in charge of pictures, and I'm her favorite subject, I think.
If you start to feel the urge to tell me that I look as big as your (cousin, aunt, friend, etc. etc.) who is due in a week, please exit this post immediately, deal?
So anyway, the greatest people threw me this shower. My mom, my sista, my sister-in-law, and my other sister of the step variety. They're so nice, and I can't thank them enough!
The decor was adorable. Ducks, of course.
Plus the most divine cupcakes you'll ever taste.

A lot of crafting went on. We're talking bow making, quilt tying, you know, the works. It was perfect in absolutely every way.
Opening presents is always an awkward time at showers. I always stress that something will be super ugly and I will have to pretend to like it or something...But, that didn't happen at ALL at my shower. My friends gave the most adorable presents and I am the luckiest girl in the world. I didn't even have to fake smile once.
Of course, I would have been just as happy with no presents at all, though. It was so much fun to see everyone and catch up.
(side note for Ty (not my husband Ty, a different one...You know who you are. Kirra told me you secretly read my blog) thank you for helping Kirra pick out those bows! They are the cutest things I've ever seen in my life. She'll be wearing one to church every Sunday in honor of you. bahaha)By the end of the shower, I was completely worn out. My mom even had to help me unbuckle my shoes, what a great mom.
Thank you sooo much to everyone who came to celebrate with us. I am so lucky to have such great people in my life.

I'm so happy for you!! (Lurker I be). Pregnancy honestly truly suits you, and you're going to be such a naturally wonderful mother. Plus, I don't think you look big at all.

It was great to see you at your shower. You really do look amazing! Loved all the cute decorations. So...we just about put that cute "ducky" (that you gave us to take home) in the bath tub with Kauri. And when I was opening the package to take it out for her I realized it didn't feel right. Soon found out it was chocolate! LOL! I took a bite out of its head to be sure and Kauri threw the BIGGEST fit! I had ate her "ducky" Hee Hee. It was very yummy too.
