El's drawers

(Like, the kind that hold her clothes).

Lately, I've been going a little crazy trying to organize baby E's clothes. The girl has a lot of them (but, not enough for me to stop buying more. It's just too fun)...

Unfortunately, I've been super lazy and most of her clothes were jammed into two drawers (out of the six her dresser has). Resulting in this.

Pretty, right? Umm. Not really.

So, I decided to spread her clothes out into separate drawers for each clothing item (shirts, pants, onsies, pajamas...You get the idea)

And the result was pretty satisfying. I found that she was wearing clothes we had forgotten about, plus the cleanliness of the drawers made my insides pretty happy.

Only...I wasn't super excited about the blah wood every time I opened a drawer. So, I began my search for some cute drawer liner. It was impossible to find something that was fun and fit in with her room.

Luckily, I came across this post and decided wrapping paper was way more fun (and a lot cheaper!).

I found rolls of wrapping paper for $1 at Michaels...So, I snatched two up and got to Mod Podging it to the inside of her drawers.

I love that I can remove the paper at anytime and change it out, if I feel the need (I'll probably be too lazy, though)

But, isn't it pretty in there?

Totally makes me want to put laundry away instead of keeping it in the basket all week...unfolded...

Plus, look how cute my helper was playing with her toys over there.

  1. Hi! I just stumbled across your blog, mostly because my name is Erika and my husband's name is Tyler! It's not like we have the most unusual names on the planet... but still something to make me stop and say hi! Your baby looks adorable, how old is she? I have a 7-month old little boy, and he looks like a similar age to yours. I will take a look around your blog and read a little more!
