I tried on at least seven different outfits. And they were all frumpy. Or had a hole in them...Or something. I don't know. But, it was depressing.
So, I decided to just throw on an old shirt and cardigan (pants too!) and call it good. I wasn't ever in love with my outfit today (I never am), but I decided to own it anyway.
(oops! My undershirt wasn't pulled down all the way)
Talk about depressing though. Hating all my clothes. So...I decided something. Every time I make x amount of money through The Fairy Blogmother or Oops! I Craft My Pants...I get to buy myself something new to wear.
I'm really excited about this, because it means maybe I'll try harder with marketing and whatev? We'll see.
For now, I'll try to make the best of the clothes I already own. I'm going to try to post what I wore every Saturday. Not because I have great style (I so so so don't even), but because I think it'll help me feel accountable and force me to try to make acceptable outfits with what I already own.
Linking up to Harper's Happenings Steppin' out Saturday

You make me laugh. I would say, "At least you got dressed! I did not try on seven outfits. I did try on a new sweater, decide that it looked frumpy so wore it for a while with my pajama pants, then just put back on my tshirt." :) And I'm NOT posting a photo of it. :)
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is really cute and even in style with current fashion. You're too hard on yourself. You look super cute!!! You look way nicer than 90% of the women I saw out and about yesterday. Have fun buying new clothes. I love getting something new to wear! I hope you get lots of business with fairyblogmother because you do a FANTASTIC job!!!
ReplyDeleteI think you look cute! Love the lace. And that's a great way to keep yourself motivated. Also, that grumpy face is to die for.
